One Of The most successful of these albums being Think Differently Music Presents: Wu-Tang Meets The Indie Culture which was released in 2005 to critical and commercial acclaim.The compilation Wu-Tang meets the Indie Culture has received multiple accolades among music industry elite, including being named Best Independent Album of 2005 by the Source Magazine. Other notable accolades include the albums impressive  ranking at #6 on the Billboard top 20 Compilations Chart, #17 on the Billboard top 50 independent Albums Chart, #68 on the Billboard Hip-Hop and R&B Top 100 Chart, and #190 on the Billboard top 200 Charts during the first week of it’s release.“Wu-Tang meets the Indie Culture” was iTunes 3rd most downloaded Album coming in behind Kanye West’s “Late Registration” and The Black Eyed Peas “Monkey Business” in its first week of release.Dreddy Kruger has been chosen by a large number of extremely talented musicians over the course of his career to A&R There Albums. He has served as an A&R on Ten albums that he also marketed and promoted those albums as well. Domestically they have  solded in excess of 350k according to the Nielsen SoundScan. Excluding the D’Angelo Album which was released on Virgin Records & has sold around 250k copies since its releaes in 2008.  All of the other albums were released by established independent record labels such as Nature Sounds/EMI, Sanctuary/BMG and Babygrande Records/KOCH. The Rza, Masta Killa and Think Differently Music Compilation albums have each been featured prominently in Entertainment Weekly, The Fader, Complex, Billboard Magazine, BPM, CMJ, XXL, Inquiring Mind (Canada), Play (Russia), Elemental and many other lifestyle & culture publications

ABOUT DREDDY KRUGER:

As a recording artist Dreddy Kruger was signed as an artist under Rza’s Wu-Tang Records Imprint. As a member of the Group Royal Fam, along side Timbo King, the group’s debut album “Yesterday, Today Is Tomorrow” was never released in the USA, however went on to sell over 150,000 copies overseas and throughout Europe. While Dreddy has been featured on several albums, including GZA’s Liquid Swords and Beneath the Surface, Wu-Tang Clan “Wu-Tang Forever”, his greatest accomplishment as an emcee came when he was awarded a French Grammy for his lyrical contributions to the track “La Saga” by French rap icons IAM. The album “Lecole Du Micro D’Argent” & the single “La Saga “went on to sell over 2 million records worldwide. Dreddy’s passion for the art of Hip Hop also provided him the opportunity to branch out beyond the mic to that of the silver screen by making an appearance in the Jim Jarmusch film Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai, starring Forrest Whitaker.
